ive tried babolat xcel premium ,prince somethings, babolat pro hurricane tour and wilson stamina as strings.i just dont know how to find something i like.how do u really find what string is best for u.im using a babolat pure storm tour strung with wilson stamina 16g at 56.my backup is a babolat apdc with pro hurricane tour.my game composes of topspin but not all that sick and strong and flat shots.i dont know really how to test to see what i like.so far the wilson is feeling very nice and its only $4.does price really matter that much?the reviews by people whove used were horrible yet the review by playtesters seemed as though it was very nice.am i better off just looking to see what color i like and price.how do u guys pick string and stick with one?

Trial and error for sure. "Feel" is a crazy-subjective issue and when you like what's coming to your hand through the handle, you know it.

I used to use pretty stiff frames and I got nice performance with them using 17 ga synthetic gut at higher tension - it felt crisp with a nice combo of power and control. When I switched to racquets with a lot more flex, the syn gut wasn't lively enough for me so I tried a couple of multifibers and they turned out to match those lower powered frames really well. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw good response in your Storm with a more resilient string while the Aero ran better for you with stiffer stuff.

Your game apparently hasn't settled in yet; when you don't know your racquet head speed, and you have different racquets that reflect you in different settings, it's going to prevent sound string testing. Even your strings now are all over the lot.

If I were you, I'd just pick out a simple synthetic gut like Prince's Original Synthetic Gut (tested standby) or Wilson's Extreme (softer) and concentrate on my game for a while.

i see thanks for the help.im thinking if i dont have any problems with the pure storm tour that id buy another and stick with just those.and yeah ill stick with just one string for a while and see.thanks guys
