How close to getting DQed? And when?

This is the record of a self-rated 3.5 player I know. These are the only two seasons he's participated in league play. I know the answer depends somewhat on the strength of his opponents but given the scores below, what are his chances of getting DQ'ed?

3-3 in 4.0 play and 10-0 in 3.5 play? Every 3.5 game won in 2 sets? I'm astonished he hasn't been DQed already.

True, but that still leaves him 2-3 in 4-0 play and 10-0 in 3.5 play without ever losing a single set. Dayum.

Based off the record I am looking at it would seem that a dq is inevitable.

Better tell this guy to play only 3.5 for the next few weeks and to make damn well sure he loses every match!!!

Is it just me or isn't it too late in the season to get a DQ? Most DQ's I've seen happen in the first 2/3 of the season.

I think he's ok the rest of the spring season and post-season play.

Its never too late to get a DQ. I had a teammate get a DQ after local playoffs during the middle of sectionals which cost our team advancing to the next round because the DQ resulted in every single match played by him turning into a default.

Must be the level of players he is going against? Not all teams play straight up.

At 3.5 he is losing mostly around 7-8 games per match/win so the computer is likely seeing it as "competitive" and at 4.0 he hasn't won more than 4 games in those he's lost. Not sure if that is considered competitive or not. I know we had a long discussion on that last fall.

Also it could be your section of the District. Here in Intermountain,-Colorado we seem to be a bit below the curve for NTRP ratings. As a self-rated 2 years ago I went 13-1 over league play, only loss to another self rate in 3 sets, and didn't get bumped. Won all matches at Districts as well. Just figured the 3.0 here wasn't as good as other spots.

yeah, I don't know. I could see him getting a couple strikes. If the opponent on 3/15 was a 4.0, that should have earned him a strike for sure. But, it's not like he is annihilating his 3.5 opponents, just beating them solidly.

Did he play against a 3.5 on his 4.0 matches.. did he play against 3.0's on his 3.5 matches.. Some or most of his 3.5 matches probably werent counted for strikes.. but his sectional scores should get him the DQ

His 3.5s were all played against 3.5s and his 4.0s were all against 4.0s. I didn't check to see if they were computer or self-rated because that's too much trouble but I did click on their ratings.
