How didn't Nadal win more?

But he is finished.

While his fans dream of him wining USO by taking time off from wimbledon, reality is that Nadal was scared of Djokovic after being "overpowered" on clay for the first time in his life, so Nadal knows he isn't winning grass or HC vs Novak, so he went to play Golf and is eating fatty food now as we speak ..... He is only aiming for next french open as he knows, thats his only shot, nothing else.... on other surfaces he is finished and even on clay he has a max of 1 slam left.
We shall see Sunny. I really really don’t think Nadal is finished in the slightest. He always gets up for the USO. Plus his last AO loss was in 5 sets to Tsitsipas after missing an easy put away in the 3rd set TB. He was up 6-3, 6-2. There is still a ton of talent there and he’s still Rafael Nadal.

The warm up tournaments will tell us a lot. But I think you’re heavily underrating Rafa

Your guy was the only one who had to sacrifice food that taste good in order to get to 20 slams!

Says something about his dedication, but it also reveals that Djokovic is more limited in talent and having that X factor!

Nadal and Federer got to 20 while enjoying chocolate and shellfish, Djokovic had to munch on lemongrass and stretch on his days off for 4 hours.

If Nadal wins USopen, Novak will defend Roland Garros.

Nadal was busy being 2nd to Federer in 00s and busy being 2nd to Djokovic in 2010s and yet his fanatics like @MichaelNadal think he is the GOAT .... :D

Dude, one cannot be rank 1 by being rank 2 throughout his life :D

Nadal is the 3rd wheel behind Federer & Djokovic
Hey Guruji, but it's not about the numbers and statistics, remember?!

His favorite is Federer

Nadal may have SOG, but Novak IS the SOG

It shows he is one surface man. Come on. You know it. If not for injuries he could possibly be epic and win few more wimbledons and Australian opens and maybe a tour final. Very clay heavy resume.
Nadal has more USOpens than Djokovic does!

Damn it!

Pay attention!

His serve wasn't consistently good enough.

But I reject the notion that he's 3rd. He's just as good as Djokovic and Federer.

The fact that he dominated the surface you have to work the hardest on (on the back of dominating loaded clay seasons already going into RG) and had to beat Federer and Djokovic and Thiem there 16 times to do it, is nothing short of staggering. In no way is it a bad thing. It's the most epic feat in tennis history.

Slam is a slam I don’t care. In fact in my time playing clay is the toughest surface mentally and physically. Winning it 13 times is unreal. Plis he’s done well at Australia only just been unlucky in finals. I don’t even care about the goat why am I here lool

Look at his sig...

This 3rd wheel Nadal, this talentless, only good for one surface player is the same guy who constantly whipped Federer's a*se on ALL surfaces during their peak years, right? That Roger guy must have been REALLY sh**.
lol

Nadal has tormented Nolefams for years at RG. So much that for many of us, Roland Garros has become the most important slam. He is pretty epic player.

Are 143-year-olds always this crabby?

Djokovic really could have had 3-4 when you think about it. Peak Wolf in 2015, net touch in 2013, slaying while it was raining in 2012...... the man is great.
And whenever we think about Djokovic it's usually, he can still do it. He can still match Roger at Wimbledon although pretty improbable and can still win the third RG if he can win this one after so many tough matches.

Declined after 2013 at age 27. Similar to Fed's decline at age 25-26 in 2007. Didn't have consistent year to year domination like Fed prior to that due to injuries.

Now now, if only there were some one who has some clear cut accolades unmatched by others?

Like for instance being The only guy who has been unequivocally addressed by the moniker 'KING' right since he was a teenager and has a colossal statue standing at the entrance of a GS venue , leave alone a center court named after him....:unsure:

I will probably be a bit salty Nadal hasn't won another AO, and salty that he never won Miami making so many finals :X3::notworthy: those are the 2 places I feel he dropped the ball.
If Djokovic gets the Gold, I'll only be salty about Queen's just for parody purposes.

1. Djokovic (NCYGS, only player to win each slam at least twice, YE No. 1s, Narrow lead in H2H versus main rival)
2. Nadal (tied on 20 slams but vastly superior H2H and especially in slams vis a vis Federer. Also has won at least two slams on each surface and Olympic Gold in singles. Vastly superior Masters record than Federer despite the hardcourt skew.
.....
...
..
.
3. Thirdwheelerer --- When you were never unequivocally the best of your own time, you have no business being in the GOAT discussion (check my sig).

Seems impossible that someone as talented as that could only manage third place.

Surely there is a lesson in there somewhere?
He's not a good fast court player. Poor serve too, which you can get away with on slow clay, but not on faster courts. It's amazing that he's won as many hard court and grass court slams as he has. No AO for 12 years, no Wimbledon for 11 years. If not for the cupcake draws at USO17 and USO19, it would be no USO for 8 years.

Only on TTW can you just stumble on 2 easy slams :-D meanwhile literally no one else is capable of doing that besides Djokovic and Nadal.......

haha, it's terrific to see old enmities and divisions being sorted out here!

Also great to see Nadal supporters returning to their old haunt. The breather probably did yas some good. :)

Nadal and Djokovic have a common mission. Y'all must work together now. lol, savor it!
