how different is the n6.1 tour 90 from the 95 and other questions

I sold my n5 to a friend yesterday for like 60 bucks, which might be less than its "worth" but its much more than i could have gotten for it anywhere else
anyway, with that small amount of money, plus getting paid today, i am in need of another racquet, a backup to my n6.1 95. I think im just going to buy another 6.1 95, but i might demo the 6.1 90 just to see how it hits, if it suits my game better, i might just buy it. what are the major differences between the two sticks?

also, since i know the n6.1 95 is a popular racquet here, what string combinations have you guys found to work well? if i end up buying another one, ill get it strung with something good, since ive only played with "good" string a couple times.

my brother needs a new racquet too, but thats a tale for another time, and i dont really want to spend time doing his homework

You are talking about the n6.1 95 16 x 18 right? Well the most noticable difference is that you will find that the 95 is very spin friendly, and is very good from the baseline. It's manuverable, and has a good solid amount of weight behind it to allow you to really plow through shots. It's also crisp on the volleys and serves, but it doesn't match the Ncode 90 in those areas. However, you will find that the 95 is a little spray friendly.



The Ncode 90 is a very demanding racquet from the baseline, but it's a very good serve and volley stick, as you have extreme percision on your serves (almost as much as a Prostaff 85, but with a little more pop to it), and it's very nice for volleys, especially on balls with alot of pace on them. The Ncode 90 is also a very stable racquet, and is extremely nice on the slice (from what I could tell from my experience), as the weight really lets you hit through the ball easily. I also found that my backhands were penetrating, although I found it hard to get anything going on the forehand. If you are fit and good enough to use the Ncode 90, you will enjoy high precision shots from the baseline, and a great stick for all court play, or serve and volley.

Ill prolly demo it and see how i play from the baseline with it. I dont come into the net too often, but my volleys could use some help

If i can hit with the same power as i can now with it, but with more precision then maybe ill make the switch. good news on the slices too, i hit alot of backhand slice. i guess its trial and error from here on out
