How do ATP points work?

I have been watching the rankings and calculating points to see where people will land….Tsitsipas just won the Lyon 250 event. He is suppose to get 250 points, right? His point total only went up 70. Anyone know why or what happened? Does the Covid adjusted point system have anything to do with it?
