How do I win at life?

No.
There are billions of people with happy rewarding lives who don't have a wealthy family or exceptional intelligence. Only in certain segments of very rich countries do people think these things are important.
I personally think happiness lies within creative expression (whether that be art or emotional ties, or something else.) Contentment is some other sort of happiness and that is easier even to attain. Patience (the opposite of impatience) and love (the opposite of hate) are the keys to contentment and happiness.

If you think I'm blowing smoke out of my tailpipe you may be right, because I learnt this in Zara University (I have a BS on BS with a Minor on Contentment and Quantum Mechanics.)

P.S.: Yes, this is a sad attempt to be removed from Zara's Ignore List, hoping some of you will comment and that out of curiosity she will have no choice but to tell me to get out of her Ignore List and into her car.

he had confidence in railroads,
he had confidence in communications,
he had confidence in transportation,
he believed in iron.
Andrew Carnegie believed in iron, built bridges Bessemer plants blast furnaces rolling mills;
Andrew Carnegie believed in oil;
Andrew Carnegie believed in steel;
always saved his money
whenever he had a million dollars he invested it.
Andrew Carnegie became the richest man in the world
and died."

But he gained ultimate Kleos on the "battlefield" and is still talked about today.

Anyway, telling me what I shouldn't do isn't the same thing is telling me what I should do. I need positive, not negative replies.

Yes, I refrain from mocking Down’s Syndrome people for their appearance or diminished IQ’s.

I could solve your insensitivity to the plight of innocents in about a month on a pedicab on International Drive during the summer. I can’t tell you how many times I see families that wheel around severely disabled children as part of their family vacations and they are joyous in going to the efforts to let their kids enjoy Mousetown and Potterville. You are a troubled soul to mock someone facing disabilities.

It is a Christian value that all human lives are valuable. Being physically or mentally handicapped, old, weak, sick, or whatever infirmity anyone may have does not reduce their value to God, and should not reduce their value in the eyes of good people. The capacity to love and be loved does not depend on ability and the love of a family toward disabled children is an example for us all.

The above said, the politically correct taking of offense where none was meant in order to put someone down is an evil act.
It has become just a parlor game to make people feel superior to those they can find fault in.

Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

That's a very nice cemetery. I remember when I was in school, there was one right behind my school and a lot of soldiers who died at war were buried on that ground and their headstones had beautiful messages. I used to write them down on my little notebook. This I'd do after school. I no longer have that notebook. :(
You could go back there and take pics with your cellphone and post them one a day or something for us.

Think how insignificant your life is when you think of billions years passed since this planet started forming. Even the history of human beings and their so called civilization will have absolute zero value when they go extinct. If you want to win at life, love someone unconditionally and spend time with them.

I don't think any life is insignificant or irrelevant regardless.

Are you ready to advocate for bacteria? Bacteria activism needs a staunch defender with the passion and forethought that you seem to possess.
Everything htat lives today, even the bacteria, descended from something that started out billions of years back. So yes, everything alive today is very precious.

When you kill a living creature, you stop a line that started out billions of years back.
I got this shocking realization when I spayed two dogs I had brought up from birth that are very dear to me.

Yup, for the universe we are insignificant. We could finish and the universe would just go on as though nothing happened. If you've lost someone very close to you, you see that everything just goes on. Humanity, the sun, the clouds, the wind ... no one seems to notice that someone very dear and very loved just passed away.

Ups store still higher on the “food chain “ than stringing rackets and driving folks around in your broken down 60’ bicycle in trashville Orlando

Utterly inconceivable to imagine the universe with trillions of planets and millions of glaxies
It would be like a crippled ant trying to figures out earth

Are you saying I should be more attentive to and try to actualize the message in Socrates' third speech on love in the Phaedrus?
