How do regular duty balls handle hard courts

A guy locally is selling cases of Penn Marathon regular duty balls for 50 bucks, but I only play on hard courts. Are they worth buying?

Depends on your playing habits.

I, for example, do not re-use balls except for serving practice. In this case, the regular duty is perfectly fine, and many people prefer the softer feel of regular duty compared to the harsher feel of the heavy-duty balls.

If you'd like to use the balls more than one hitting sessions, the hard court balls are designed to last you a bit longer.

I don't mind regular duty balls on hard courts but I don't like extra duty balls on clay. The extra fur on the ball holds excess clay and the balls get really heavy.

We use propenn marathon regular duty indoor hard courts, if the court is quick, they skip pretty low, but not unplayable

Great for serving expo's, great for guys who want to end point's quickly with aggressive shots.
Combine regular duty balls with hard courts with warm temps, high altitudes, and you can make a great serving video.
