How do you calibrate the tension on a Prince Neo 1000?

I recently checked how accurate my stringing machine is, and it read as being off by 2 lbs. The tension is about 2 lbs heavier. So if I set the tension to 53 lbs it’s actually stringing the racquet at 55 lbs. Can anyone tell me how to adjust (calibrate) the machine so the tension I string racquets at is accurate? Thanks for any help or instruction you can provide!

There's a small screw on the tension mechanism that you can turn to loosen/tighten. Similar on most lockout machines.

If you have the manual, the instructions are in there. I believe it requires a 3mm Allen wrench (hex key). If you do not have a manual ask @MAX PLY to send you the PDF. You also need a calibration device (I use luggage device) and a used pre-stretched string. Read when the head locks.

Crank is not CP, so setting up 55lb for 53lb is not a bad idea.

I bought the gamma one but I have a luggage one that I thought might work, good to hear you've done yours with the luggage one.. I know my luggage one is accurate because it's been around the world a few times and always keeps my bag just under the limit.

I use electronic luggage scale as well. Works but sometime I have to pull again as the unit will not show the result.

IMO, this is like setting your watch fast to keep you from being late, so I disagree and think this is a bad idea.
When I had a crank, I calibrated it to be spot on. Then I found the tension number I liked and used that.
When I bought a Wise, same procedure.
And finally the Mighty Sensor, same process (the number didn't change from the Wise to the Sensor BTW).

I most definitely would not calibrate your crank to "compensate".
