Yes, but pros' personal preferences are all over the place. It seems they usually get their preferences by trying everything under the sun at least once. If you're going to copy something pertaining to pros' equipment, that should be it. In a lot of cases, the frames that pros play are similar to the frames that they played when they were just starting to play tennis at a young age--that's how a lot of pros get set in their preferences.
As far as implementing pros' frames into one's own game, I wouldn't go farther than looking at the model they are playing or endorsing. I've always thought that there seems to be a correlation, although slight, between playing styles and, for example, Wilson Pro Staff frames and Head Prestige frames. Otherwise, if you want to implement, for example, aspects of Federer's playing style into your own game, and Federer endorses a Hyper Hammer with rollers, you'd buy that endorsed frame thinking you'd play a little more like Federer. That's probably why pros endorse the frames that they endorse. Otherwise, manufacturers would surely shoot themselves in the foot.
