How hard is it to win a SF over 5 sets and play a Big 4 member for the title?

Roger Federer (0-0) - Hardly played any 5 set SFs (which he won). 2009 FO was the only time he got the chance to play for the title after winning SF in 5. He took it.

If anything I think it's a testimony to a player's conditioning and fitness. I get gassed out towards the end in a 4.5, club level, 3 setter and I'm in decent shape (for a 33 yo). In my defence, I cant serve & voley to save my life so have to hustle my way around the court. The pros are on a different level altogether. Huge respect.
