How long do clay court shoes like the feathers last...

if they're played with on only clay courts and nothing else. i used my old feather III's on clay and hardcourt playing hard court 2 times a week and clay 4 times a week for about two hours each. they lasted for about 6 months.

It's kind of hard to tell if you only play on clay, since they will be in need of replacement before you wear through the outsole. It's really a matter of preference and other factors (such as body weight, playing style, etc.). Also, how often you play and for how long is obviously a factor.

I think it all depends on your level and how aggressive you are. I get close to six months out of mine and then I start noticing the right ball of the sole will begin wearing down(all those inside out forehands) and I need a new pair. Then I'll save that pair for when I play on hardcourts.
