How Mannarino (aka Claydrian) can dominate on the clay

Alright boys and girls it's time to put our heads together and help Mannarino out this clay season.

The main problem is that he hits too flat.
He will not get to Casper Ruud forehand topspin level, but maybe we can get him close to Iga Swiatek level topspin on the forehand side.
Iga's topspin forehand technique is deadly yet efficient, perfect for Clay Mannarino.
Mannarino's balls are flat mainly due to his technique, but partly due to low string tension.
The technique is partly due to elbow issues and low string tension.
The low string tension is partly due to elbow issues.
Tightening the strings (by itself) would increase pain.
However, I'm told he also uses just an overgrip on his racquet with no base grip.
That makes the racquet lighter but also substantially increases shock on impact.
Maybe if he tries adding a Cushion Pro or similar just for the clay season he can tighten up the mains on the racquet and copy Iga's technique on the forehand just for the clay season.

Sounds crazy but I'm all out of better ideas.

More kick on his serve would also help Claydrian out but the groundstrokes are the main issue by far.

My only other idea is to try out something a bit slipperier like Wilson Revolve or Babolat Blast Rough for the strings.

Looking for additional suggestions.
