How many are tennis pros?

Just kind of curious how many people on these boards are tennis pros or some other tennis profession (exp. stringer)? And how many just love tennis?

I'll start...I just love tennis, but am a full time student and work as a server and bartender.

Ive played some low level pro tournaments, and had planned on playing them full time and traveling around for a while to see how it would go after graduating college this last December. My game was really taking off toward the end of last summer. Unfortunately, I tore a ligament in my wrist in August, and I have a ways to go still before I will be trying to compete again.
So now, I got a job as a teaching pro, which I also enjoy doing.

good luck on that recovery TL.

I love tennis and love to teach but unfortunately I don't think I'm at a level where I could teach anyone but beginners :(.

Don't be so negative. Every tennis player has to start somewhere. That's why we also have daycare and kindergarten teachers. They aren't worse teachers than high school physics teachers they just teach a different level.

You could lay a solid foundation for countless kids' games and help them become great tennis players.

I love tennis.

I am new myself, but do help new people on court who don't know how to hold a racquet or swing.

There was a recent thread about pros on the forum. That had some posts in it.

Did make a living out of playing tennis.
Now work with two young players that play at a high level.
love reading all the post here. :)
