How many crosses ahead?

Hi guys.

Are there any downsides to weaving more than two crosses ahead?

Recently I've tried 4 or 5 and it's great having the excess string out of the way.

Cheers, Paul

This what I also do. Just make sure that your weaving is done correctly with no skip overs. For me, it is faster because I do not have to bend over to weave as often. I normally do 4 or 6 ahead until I get down to the last 2 or 3 crosses. Those are done one-at-a-time.

Its slower because you have to take out the slack and add it to the next.
