How many Davis Cup titles for Federer in his career?

Switzerland appears to have a great team now with Fed and Wawrinka. And Federer intends to play until hes 35 so theres a lot of time left. How many Davis cup titles will Federer win in his career?
 
i think they have a good chance in the next year. roddick and blake havent been playing their best and if they happen to play them on clay u have to give the swiss the advantage. the russians, spanish, and argentines might be a problem though.
 
He is a Selfish man. He cares nothing for his country. he will only play if it fits his schedule or if he feels bored. He will not win any davis cup titles
 
I predict he'll win one.

Federer and Wawrinka is easily one of the strongest singles teams around, the doubles could be a bit of a problem though.

Unbelieveable thought, what a negative mindset!!!! How did you know what he thought? I don't think Swiss will think like you, they know/understand what is priority and what is more important. By the way, how many good Swiss player? Davis cup requires 3-4 good players to win, ok? I think Davis cup should play every 2 years or 4 years, make it more valueable.
 
Just Ask JP Mcenroe what is more important. He will tell you that winning Davis cup titles are far more important than any Grand slam titles he won.

What I believe is if USA has only 1 good tennis player, has chance to win a slam & beat all the record, then the 1 good player will not play Davis cup, don't you think so? IMO, Fed has managed to play for his country is just right.

By the way, for the OP I don't think Fed will win Davis cup even he play every match until he turn 35 except Swiss has more good tennis player.
 
I dunno if he will win 1, I can't see him winning any more than 1.

If US has only 1 good player ??? Don't tell that to Roddick or John Mcenroe. They will sacrifice their life and Limb to play for their country, anytime and anywhere. whereas Federer only plays if it fits his schedule or if he feel like it.....:-?

I'd rather hit a century at the Oval and secure the Ashes for England than win a Grand Slam, it's all down to preference.

Wawrinka has been a good player for some years now. So make that 2 good players.

I think he can win at least 1 cup, but if he falters and doesnt win at least 1 it will leave a big gaping hole in his resume.

If my memory serve me right from last 10 years there is only Croatia won davis cup with 2 good players and I think this is not gonna happen anymore.
