I decided to cut out the new string which I don't like and try Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power 16L String. My current racquet nCode n1 is 58lb with poly and I like it.

How many lbs for Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power 16L String? The manufacturer suggests 10% less tension. Should I go for 52lb? My new racquet is nCode n3.

Thanks...

Alu is way to stiff for a light stiff raquet like that. I suggest you try Prince Syn. Gut at 58 and if you like that you can try a HYBRID with the lux. if you really want to but preferably with a softer string rather(eg: Big Ace , Cyber Blue/Power or M2).

Thank you Matty for your reply~ I need to think over for the stiff lux not good for a light stiff racquet...

I completely agree with Matty. Since Luxilon isn't arm friendly, having a light racquet will make it even worse because it won't absorb as much shock as a heavy racquet. What are you looking for in Luxilon?

I don't like the syn gut 17 on my new racquet and my coach suggests Luxilon. He uses Luxilon on his n3 racquet.

I got my racquet strung at 53lb. I tried my new racquet today and I like it at the first try. It has good control and power and I can feel the string bite the ball well.
