Keep me posted. I'm in Columbia.
Cool. Will do.
Hey everyone. Just joined up here. I moved down to the Myrtle Beach area. I was a 4.0 player when I was playing everyday but probably a 3.5 since I haven't in a while. Looking to get back to playing and renewing my usta membership and some tournaments. So anyone near the Myrtle Beach area that would like to meet up and play?
there are a bunch of very active tennis leagues here in mb scotty. where are you thinking about playing out of?
I'm headed to Myrtle May 5th through 10th and would like to hit / play singles.
I'm a 4.0+ I will be staying in North Myrtle Beach and would to play on the clay.
Im right up the road from market commons, but usually use the courts in surfside by the library. My neighbor usually plays with me, but she has been working alot and I wanna get back into shape to start playing in some tournaments.
Anyone local wanna meet up and hit sometime this week?
Supposed to be nice this weekend. Anyone close to myrtle beach wanna meet up for some hitting/game
Scotty what usta rating are you? That would help me narrow down options for you. Thx!
A good group of 4.0 guys (my team going to states) will be practicing next wednesday at a local club. Email me for more detail if interested. We are a bit south of where you are staying but not too far.
3.5... I tried searching for tennis ladder or something similiar to that, but with no luck
It's USTA league play here. And there are a lot of private clubs that support tennis with club socials and such. There is also a very nice brand new public facility in Pawleys Island near Litchfield Country Club. A ton of new players there and good league opportunities too.

Spent a summer at Pawley's Island. Nice place.
Do i have to join the clubs? I am getting ready to renew my usta membership that i let expire.
The Pawleys Island Stables is a public facility but does have a small fee to "join". Check out the link, there should be more information in there.
The private clubs require initiation fee and monthly or quarterly fees that can add up. Worth it in my opinion if you play often (i.e. 3 or 4 times per week and/or have a family membership offering even more playing opportunities).
Most clubs will also allow guest fees, pay as you play, etc. to non-members.
