I think 15 is out of reach, but I also thought 6 was out of reach till this year.

Reason why i believe is he knows how to shut the doors down, is clearly better than HC field by a fine margin and you know what differences even a tiny margin brings in slam results, also he doesn't lose sets where he's playing better than opponents ( another sign of a big player) he needs to improve his serve and he will be fine.

If he wins tommorow which I fully expect he could win atleast 6 and probably more. He is clearly the best hard court player with Alcarez for some inexplicable reason struggling so much on hard courts right now (I don't expect that to fully continue but for now it is a fact). Not sure he will ever win a non hard court slam but with 2 hard court slams a year that is a lot of opportunity still.

It's not as if he's a nobody on grass and clay. He made RG semi and won Halle on grass. He will grab many Wimbledon and some RG as well

Voted 1-8. I think he’ll finish around the 6 or 7 mark.

I think some people have forgotten hos tennis has been because of the dominance of the big 3. It’s so rare to hit double digits. Sinner is good but he hasn’t shown he’ll be dominating or winning slams at Wimbledon or the French Open. I don’t see him winning both the AO and USO multiple times as he probably will this year so how can people say 20+?

And we can’t discount other players for future hard court slams and Sinner has not been as dominant as Novak was on the surface.

Didn’t he lose a set to Mackenzie McDonald in the 1R here? And he didn’t lose to Rublev in Canada?

Or did I dream that sorry?

I agree with you that most likely he won't reach Big 3 level. However, he doesn't need to.

People who say something like "double digits are SOOOO far away" totally forget that in a normal career duration these days just ONE Slam per year on average (or even less than that) will still be enough. And all that without having the Big 3 as competition and without a new group of similar caliber emerging.

Of course it was doubtful who exactly would be the next quite dominant player. But now that he and Alcaraz seem to have established themselves as such, actually both should easily reach at least 10. Remember that's still barely half-way to the Big 3. So as I said, absolutely no Big 3 level needed to get such a number.

It depends on Alcaraz who is clearly a stronger player to date but needs to learn how to pace himself and win more efficiently. If he does that he can dominate Sinner.

Sinner isnt even Tsitsipas level player on clay and on grass he gets routined by every Top 10 player.

Hard court specialisation will limit his count

Nothing wrong with prediction, you're just jealous that Carlos isn't the one who is being rated that highly. There are many brainless hypotheticals like Peak Laver vs Peak Fed or Nadal lol
I agree that Sinner is an incredible player and will win more slams after collects the USO trophy but you can’t predict someone to win another thirteen slams even If they already have 10 or something. Also I’m not jealous of Sinner, Alcaraz literally is two years younger and has x2 more slams.

Doubt he's winning more than 15. He's a generational talent, but I just can't see him getting close to the big 3. I think around 8-10 is realistic.

Point is nobody can predict the future and knows the answer of Hypotheticals and that's what makes discussion and forum intresting. We will have to shut down ttw if we stop Hypotheticals, predictions and solely talk about what is a fact

Alright, Alcaraz wins 20+ slams anybody! Gotta stoke them flames y’know.

I never objected to Crazy Carlos fanboys predicting 25+ slams for him, don't know why it becomes problem when Sinner fans think he can win more than 15? Sinner is more consistent and it rewards, is way better on HC than anyone else and just entering his prime. Only sky is the limit for him.

Why are Carlos fans crazy for predicting crazy numbers but your normal for predicting crazy numbers as well.

Borg quit tennis at 26 and rarely played ao.

His era comparison is futile. Big 3 era is how sineraz are playing.

Play till late 30s and all surfaces are same. Borg is past era

Okay but still Sampras, Agassi, Hewitt & Courier played in this modern era and 2 of those burned out by 26 too...

I can't say Sampras Agassi courier played in modern era. Surface homogenization is at its peak. Sinner can make channel slam even next year. It's almost same everywhere.
