How many slams for Djokovic in 25 without Sinner?

I keep hearing about how his level had fallen off a cliff by AO24, and yet he’s made the SFs of all 4 slams in 25, and 6 of 7 since 24, excluding withdrawals. In 25, he’s beaten a top 4 player in every run except for Wimbledon.

I maintain that if not for Sinner overall and Alcaraz at Wimbledon, Djokovic would be cleaning up like in 21-23. In fact, the gap between him and the pathetic CIE guys has only gotten wider. Medvedev, Tsitsipas and Ruud have truly fallen off a cliff while Zverev and Fritz had their most competitive slam matches with Novak in 2021. Even if he’s experienced gradual decline, the CIE guys are so horrible that he’s beating them more easily now than 4 years ago.

Without Sinner in the AO final waiting, Djokovic likely tries harder to beat Zverev in the SF, injuries be damned. It’s not like he hasn’t won the AO with an ab and hamstring tear before by beating CIE guys. He wins RG and Wimbledon no question. There’s nobody in the draw in the USO outside of Sinner and Alcaraz who can beat him. He could well be going for CYGS if they didn’t show up.

Sinner had no impact in him not winning AO.

I suppose he can win one of RG and Wimbledon, lose the other one. Him and Alcaraz splitting them as they did in '23 seems likely.

USO, we'll see. But I'm guessing he loses in the SF. So overall, 1.

0-2, depending on the USO SF.

He obviously isnt winning AO. You just cant speculate if he retired in the SF because Sinner was waiting.
He doesnt beat Carlo at FO.
Has a shot at W
Has a shot at USO

2024 AO and that's about it. none of the semis he has reached in 2025 and ran into Sinner brick wall would have changed much if he won both by moving into the final, because there was a hungry and much more motivated Alcaraz waiting in the finals of those two, and Alcaraz now on natural surfaces may as well be too much for Djokovic. If he was healthy at AO 2025 and moved past Zverev and assuming he had to play someone else other than Sinner in that hypothetical final, i have him winning that one as well...

He's proven that he's still good enough to routinely take out anyone not named Sinner, and Alcaraz, to a lesser extent, so I'd say 1 slam.

The level Alcaraz displayed at Wimbledon in the F was as bad as Djokovic in the SF.

I think he doesn’t retire after one set if Sinner isn’t waiting in the final.

Splitting RG and Wimbledon is fair.

If both Sinner and Alcaraz are absent though, he’s having another 2021.
