How many string jobs too many on a used Electronic stringing machine?

I'm thinking of buying a used (Gamma Progression ELS II) machine which was offered to me @700. Seller says he did 1500 string jobs on it.. would appreciate if anyone with experience with electronic machines can share their knowledge on how much life would be left on a machine with 1500 jobs under the belt... Is $700 reasonable for such a machine? Thanks in advance!
