Interested in how many tournaments u guys play a year
20 + (Three state USTA zone)
wow how do u manage all of that??
I do 20+ a year as well...It's not hard to manage
really?? can u give me some tips
because i have only been playing a year and have played 1 tournament in 8 months and am planning to play more tournaments soon
I played 2 Ranking tournaments last year, but about 3-5 minor tournaments as well, which I did better in.
i play over 20 tournaments a year...i'm davydenko's son..LOL
just kidding....i havent played a tournament in a while but i played like 4-5 tournaments in the first quarter of last year...
I just play 2-3 a month. There are a bunch of tournaments, you just have to look
If you live out in the Southwest you end up traveling A LOT and long distances because there is a whole lot of nothing between people.
BUT in exchange, we play and practice all the time in regular tennis clothes- Tournaments are scheduled almost every other week all year round, like in Mid- January and February, so twenty tournaments are easy in a year.
If PLAYING (not winning or losing) makes the best improvement to your game, the Southwest is the greatest place for tennis- but we play a lot of the same guys and the rides to towns can be boring.
This is my first time playing USTA so I plan on playing about 4 tournaments this year along with league play. Wish me luck
do u guys think that lower ranked players should play less tournaments and that only highly ranked players should play more tournaments??
i think low rank and high rank players should just play in as many tournaments as possable
it is easy to play alot in newengland i play 15-20 and play other sports
10-15 per year not counting HS team stuff.
Do u guys ever play two in a weekend or anything?
OH crap I didn't even know this was in the junior section. I just click on new post link at the top and read whichever thread I see interesting.
I can't go to that many tournaments because school keeps me too busy. If I wasn't in honors and didn't skip a year of algebra, I would play way more than 6-10 tournaments a year. How do you guys manage to finish homework on the weekends and do projects and tournaments at the same time?
Lol. It happens.
Almost every weekend for me. Although not all are USTA.
ya i was thinking the same thing
Tennis and school, school and tennis- not much time for other things- I made these my priorities, AP and Honors + Tennis.
Even with (only) these- working on one and the other suffers, drives me crazy, but should be better off for it.
where is the option for 0?
Separate names with a comma.
