How much can a player change their strokes? [Thiem]

    Watching this video, I was baffled at 3:48. I couldn't figure out which one was Thiem, who the video was about.

    I think it is a match from his earlier career when he first started. Wow, do his strokes look different now or what?!



    It made me think Thiem is just an animal of an athlete combined with a massive worth ethic. His strokes looked terrible before... all spin and weirdness, no penetration, no heaviness. He only won the point because he runs around like a madman. Now he's absolutely crushing his shots. And still runs around like a madman...

    You abbreviate your strokes when you're late or don't have time.

    I think you've lost the plot, how does those 4 shots look deifferent? o_O They are just defensive shots

    I noticed he seems to be more upright during his serve's trophy position these days, this is just a casual observation though, maybe he just serves flat more often now as well.
