How much do you pay for tennis balls?

I usually pay here in Holland/Europe 8 Euros a can of 4 Wilson US Open balls, which is almost 10 dollars.
Or 3 cans of 3 balls for 15 Euros, which is like 18/19 dollars.
Isn't that redicilous?
I bought a pack of 4 US Open cans for 10 dollars at the sports Authority, when I was in the US.

$10 for 4 balls is high.... but you guys have to play in those wooden shoes, so I imagine it makes the balls last a lot longer JK!

Be thankful if you have nice courts there. Where I live its cheap balls, but rundown courts. Indoor courts? No way, not around here

haha...same here...$1.49 a can...the balls are heavier but last way longer than crappy costco penn championship balls. i dont know if it was just mine, but has anyone gotten a flat can in a case of balls?

$6 for a 4-ball can of Dunlop Championship balls here in Linköping Sweden. However that was in an special outlet. The "normal" general sports shops charge more than double that. I normally buy my balls via mail order (for around $6 a can).

A 3 ball can is about $2. I always use Penn brand. They are the only ones ( that I know of) that I know of that are still made in the U.S.A.

I usually check out the Big-5's for sales. Recently, I bought a case of Wilson Titaniums for about $50 including tax. It came out to about 2.05 a can. I checked the case before I left and found a couple damaged cans. The people at the register replaced them no questions asked.

REMEMBER.......................there are cheapo "costco" and "walmart" balls bur for any player over 3.0 these are not worth the measley $1.99 you pay for them. You should be paying about $2.50-3.00 to get good balls, it makes a difference. Many have pointed out the Dunlop Grand Prix, this is a fine ball. Costs a bit more, but worth every penny. Cheapo balls do not have the same coating, weight or mass, and you can feel the difference when you hit. So, for all those who think you are clever buying crap balls at Costco, think again.

I actually practice with the titanium balls which is about $1.89 a can. They just last longer during practice. I like playing matches with the Dunlop Grandprix or the Penn ATP $4.00 a pop.
