how much of lead tape do the pros using babolat pure storm team uses??

Haha lemme' guess. You're obsessed with the Pure Storm and whoever uses it. Gonzalez is one of my favorite players and I demoed the Pure Storm for like a week. It's pretty awesome. I'm pretty sure that Gonzalez uses heaps of lead tape, but its still the Pure Storm, no PJ.

haha...yup...i just like the feel, the colour scheme of pure storm..the first time i used it, fell in love wit it..i chose it over the n6-1 tour..yar...i was just wundering if anyone knows how much of tape they use??and where??i noe gonzalez uses tapes at 3 and 9 o'clock..but how much??

Well i just worked it out from the Players specs. Gonzalez is approx 362 strung, stock is 312. So 50 grams??

Looking for THE ANIMAL

THE ANIMAL,

I wanted to email you, but your email link is not available. If you see this, would you kindly drop me a note? Thank you. :)

im looking at buying one of these but i will have to lead it up. all my rackets are around the 12 oz area. i would like to make the storm more headlight. where would i add the lead tape and how much to make it play more like the pure control? i would like to weight it similar but i think the storm will be better due to the more flexible frame.

thanks!

you can either: 1) add 0.5 oz of 1/2" strips to the handle, or 2) buy a racquet one grip size smaller than what you'd normally get and have heat shrink put on it, which would add right around 0.5 oz.

i did the latter and my PS weighs 12.2 oz strung, 7pts. HL, 326 SW.

Is that all you did put .5 oz of lead under the handle, and it ways 12.2 oz. I had been using storms but switched back to my trusty pc 2001 because the storm was too light and headheavy. I couldn't find a good lead set up. Any pics of how you leaded it up if you did.

Yes alot is required the racket is too headheavy and light for atp players.

This is the BEST Babolat raquet; it just needs a fix: Just fill the handle up with silicone!

Why whenever people start to like a racquet some pro's use does someone pop up and claim it is a paintjob. It may well be but where is your proof. Even some small explnation to your claim would do.
