Can some explain to me how suggesting a Slavic player needs to find their "magic wand" to play the best at tennis is a form of medieval racism? I'm asking purely to learn. The concept of someone finding the right tool to optimize their craft does not on the surface seem particularly offensive and suggesting Slavic players look like magicians or wizards on the tennis court seems like it would be a compliment more than an insult.

He plays a brand that pays him. You need a good racket, any brand can make one. You stick to it, and get the reps. As far as equipment goes, string are of course half of the story, poly strung real tight suits his strokes (but I would think he could be even better if he learned to hit with a looser strung stick, to get more feel and variety, IMO,YMMV)
