How much to pro shops charge for demos?

Just a quick question, I'm demoing 5 racquets:
Head youtek speed mp 16x19
wilson blx six one 95 16x18
Babolat pure storm tour gt
Dunlop 4d 300 tour
babolat aeropro drive gt

How much would pro shops typically charge for 5 racquets out for about a week? and I will be most likely buying from there

I've seen from 2 to 5 dollars a day, sometimes a flat 5 to 15 for several days. Infrequently, you'll find a place that doesn't charge, particularlly if it's part of a racquet club. These costs are per racquet.

My local shop doesn't charge anything :)
I've never demoed from there yet so I don't know how it works exactly

$25 for exactly 7 days. One out at a time but unlimited exchanges within the 7 days. The $25 goes to the purchase of a racket.

Price varies. Usually the price goes towards the purchase of a racket. This is fair since often, people demo, then buy online. Often, the demo price is the difference between their price and the online dealers' prices so that there is no incentive to buy online.

At my local shop it's $1.50/day and you can keep the racquet for 3 days; you can keep it another 3 if there's no one waiting for it. All demo fees go towards the purchase of a racquet. I ended up with a $50 credit from demo fees last time.

mine charges I think $10 dollars for like a couple of days, possibly per racquet, I've never really cared because the demo money goes towards the purchase of a new racquet

My shop used to charge $5 a day but I know everyone there so well that they let me take any racket for demo as long as I bring it back when they need it.

My shop is $20 per month, 3 rackets at a time for up to 3 days... The $20 goes towards a new racquet after your demo month expires.

I demo'd once at a popular pro shop. The rackets were pretty beat up and it didn't seem like they cared about maintaining or I should say replacing worn out grips and strings. The strings were some random (and worn) syn-gut at who knows what tension, so you hardly going to see what the racket feels like at it's best. At the end of the demo period I didn't get a feel for any of the rackets at all, which was pointless.

The multiple rackets that I demo'd from TW several years back on the other hand, were in very good shape, the grips were fine, and the strings were NRG2 at midrange so you a good feel for the rackets and pretty good idea of what a nice string would feel like in it. I hope that hasn't changed, as I'm demo-ing from TW soon

Hey OP and Everyone Else,

What do you think about the Prince Syn gut 16? I put it on once, on my ntour 95, at 50 lbs, and it broke after like 5 hitting sessions! That was the fastest breaking that I ever had.

$5 a day per racquet. A little more if it's over the weekend. The demo fees are credited to the purchase of a racquet. I've ended up purchasing a couple racquets this way....

I am not sure what our Pro Shop charges for demos. If you are a HS coach they let you demo N/C. I coach two HS teams and run a summer camp so I send any player looking for frames.. strings.. bags shoes etc to them. They also supply a discount card to all my players.
