How much will the new Wilson BLX racquets cost when they come out in Jan 2010?

When the new Wilson BLX racquets come out in Jan 2010 - How much do you think they will cost? I'm assuming 199, but could they possibly cost more?

Rackets will gradually become more expensive.

I've noticed ever since I stopped playing baseball, the bats which $200 4 years ago are now $400.

I can see tennis rackets going up as well. But if the price is unreasonable and companies aren't earning the same profit, they may just keep it the same. Otherwise, if enough people still buy at a steep price, why not keep the price up? =P
 
The value of the dollar is going down compared to most currencies. The US treasury is printing ever more dollars, but the country is running a huge deficit.
Be prepared to pay more for anything produced overseas. (And what isn't?)

doesn't china use the USD as it's trading currency ?
 
i really am not concerned with the costs, but does anybody have any clue onto WHAT EXACT DAY IT COMES OUT???? i just saw the bags and am literally dying to get my hands on these bad boys.
 
The cost is about $20, but the price will be about $189 with a suggested retail list price of $249. They want to make you think you are getting a bargain. LOL.
 
A local shop here in BFE said that the BLX Pro Tour would be available on Jan 22, 2010, and retail for $179
 
SIX.ONE serie is listed for $230 according to the brochuer I got from my shop

PRO serie goes for $210

Not necessarily. If you are cheap like me with money to spend, it's a valid question. $249.99 would be "funny" and would represent yet another dumb manufacturer move. "Hey, let's try to fool the consumer with this fancy basalt crap and charge those suckers more!"
 
The paint job alone should mandate a deep discount to 49.99. Wilson needs to seriously rethink their design team. Just forget about yellow and red and green and gold.

But if it'll make me play like Federer, it'll be worth every penny regardless of price. :lol:

I just hope the quality control on these are better than on the K90s. I'm not playing anywhere close to the level of Federer with my K90 (got another dud). I'll try replacing my third K90 first before making the switch to Federer's senior's tour BLX 90. The PJ on this really shines and makes it a worthwhile purchase IMHO.
