My parents say I have to0 every day. Sucks, but I guess I don't really have a choice.

P.S. before anyone says anything about listening to parents, I'm 15, so I DO have to listen to them.

As a college guy I'm shaving like once every three days or so. I hate being cleanly shaven. GRRRRR

Stubble rules! :)

Actually, you DON'T really have to listen to them. But you should! And thanks very much for doing so...

I do because they are very good to me. Also I have no reason not to listen to them.

LOL, yeah but when it comes to that it's about what you want. Shaving isn't something they should decide, do they tell you what t-shirt to wear too?

Different cultures have different levels of discipline, conservatism and levels of freedom. One of my friends grew a beard (at the age of 25) and his advisor in college asked him to shave it off (this is in the US). It is considered to be a little rogue-like to grow a beard by some though as you grow older it is seen as a mark of manliness by some...

I know that mate. Just thought I'd see how the boy responds to such talk of freedom.

Is anyone noticing that grooming requirements are more relaxed these days? I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to shave at my new job everyday even though it's a nice office right beside city hall.
I even bought a 160$ electric razor for shaving everyday(man you should see this thing, it's awesome. You shave with a wet face and can even have shaving foam while you use it. http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10047950&catid= )
Anyway, I'm glad I don't have to shave everyday; I look like a jerk with a clean shave!

Every other day for me, my skin gets too sensitive if it's every day. Work in an office but it's pretty relaxed thanks to a great Finance Director;)

Ought to point out that I hadn't shaved since 21 December until this morning, I looked a bit like Ray LaMontagne lol
