haha! yeah, i know. im going from being in a small town thats pretty far away from houston and anything exciting to a place that's literally in the middle of nowhere...but at least there will be way more people my age over there than here in the kingwood bubble...

True. who knows your tennis might start to suffer with all the non-sensical partying going on over there. Distractions distractions distractions.

Ever drink and play tennis? Oh the comedy!! I haven't personally but i did try basketball once with a bunch of my friends. Needless to say a lot of us were suffering from pains from just running into each other. Think if we decided to drive instead.

Not that I condone minors drinking but I know how them college years are.

JUST SAY NO!! Be cool stay in school. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. And so is a liver so USE IT!

yeah. apparantly at a&m the weekends start on thursday so ill have to avoid all that thursday night partying, especially considering that i have an 8 am class on fri mornings.
their tennis team is supposedly really good, though, so maybe i can hit with them, although i already know theres no way i can make the team. i can join an intramural team or something...
and btw, i dont really like drinking, but my parents have let me drink since i was little (in small amounts obviously) and they let me drink now whenever i want, as long as i dont get drunk or do something stupid...

nope, no car. but im "sharing" one with my brother up in college station, although "sharing" is relative because i know ill hardly ever get to drive it...

It's okay there is no where to drive too in college station. So you lucked out there. Does he play too? I know when I moved to Houston i took a very long break from tennis because it was hard for me to find people to play with.

yeah, he plays too, but hes much better than me.
alot of people from kingwood are going to a&m and thankfully some tennis players, too. i know of 3 people who i played tennis with here in high school who are going there, so i at least know i can play with them.

lol. i didnt know this either until i read it in some other post the other day...i was mad because i wanted to get an avatar, but my post count kept staying the same cuz i kept posting in the odds and ends section...

OH YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GUESS WHO GREW AN INCH OVER THE SUMMER? I'm gonna turn 15 on November 4, so kinda worried my time is short. This one guy in my school last year was about 3 inches shorter then me and he told me his doctor said that he'd grow to 6'8" so he's taking something to prevent his growth being so rapid. Personally I think he's full of s*** and he is, or maybe the doctor is.
