How to buy US Open tickets

Hi,

I'm from the Netherlands and for the past 2 hours I've been trying to purchase tickets for the US Open without any success.

I'm trying to buy from the official US Open site and Ticketmaster, but I keep getting the message that my credit card is not accepted. It is a Master Card so there shouldn't be anything wrong with it (we just used the credit card to pay for our airplane tickets). We also tried PayPal (linked to the same credit card) without prevailing. We are sure we filled in the correct information etc.

Do any of you know if it is possible to buy US Open tickets from outside the US? Any suggestions would be kindly appreciated.

Where do you want to sit in the stadium seats? General admission you can buy anytime even at the gate!

Grand slam tennis tours will sell you the individual tickets for Ashe or Armstrong without having to book the hotel and all the extras. They have good seats and the prices are typically better than stubhub or the others.

Went last year and just bought day of match via Stubhub once we knew the match-ups.
