how to clean clay dust from shoes

It's practically impossible to eliminate the dust entirely from playing on clay.

When I play on red clay and the clay has just been watered, the "mud" sticks to the shoe. At best, you can minimize it by soaking some paper towels and removing it. I have one shoe (and a few socks) which I set aside for when I play for clay knowing that the dirt will eventually do them in aesthetically.

Let them dry in the sun and then brush them. It won't get it all of it, but it's the best you can do.

Clay dust/particles have a habit of getting everywhere and you can't ever get rid of it. Consider it a badge of honor.
