Found this on youtube. Here's what the guy posted on comment section on howto Federer a forehand.
The take back: Take your racket back with your elbow while keeping the racket head facing forwards & upwards,(you can think of drawing a reversed V shape for the take back movement with your left hand detaching from the racket and aiming at the ball in front which will make you hit your ball early) )
The Lag: to have a great lag, you must keep your arm relaxed and at the moment when you start the acceleration, you must rotate your shoulders & hips at a good speed while keeping your arm relaxed, then the lag will happen naturally The racket facing the ground happens naturally if you have the right grip, but to make it better, try to keep your racket at the ball height level just prior to acceleration, i advise you to do many repetitions of the take back only (300 CORRECT repetitions) then maintain that movement and add the acceleration
