If im pushed from corner to corner and I need to run for the ball I have very good timing with my FH.Basically If I have to take 2 or more steps to the right I probably hit a good shot. The problem comes when I dont need to move that much for the FH. Anyone got this problem and solved it? Any tips?
I always do the unit turn, i focus of the elbow leading the shot, i have the double bent position in the hand, i try to use the abs for more power. But for some friggin reason I have major problems with forehand when it doesnt require moving. And I dont think the problem is with footwork either. Basically in my problematic situation the ball either hits the frame or Im late with the shot and the ball sails to the back fence.
One thing that helped me a bit was when I realised I didnt take the racquet back early enough. But there is still something wrong...i wish I could post a video. If someone can find a reason why the running forehand is better for me Id appreciate it a lot.
