I cut the cords on cable TV a while back...but love to watch Tennis....IS there any Online streaming service just for Tennis I can buy . I got TennisChannelEverywhere, but it was a flop! They offer just WTA and other , not the big 4 events....Also, you need TennisChannel subscription on any Cable providers...sucks!!

TennisTV is pretty good for non-slams. My internet provider lets me watch ESPN online for free, no cable subscription. Can watch a bunch of the slams through that.

Welcome to tennis, a world in which nothing is cheap . . . where else do you pay for 55-minute blocks of time for the right to be in a building that is not really heated . . . or lit . . . you gotta fork

You can't get quality for free. Scratch that you can. Sling TV has a completely free 7 day trial. It has ESPN3 channel in guide which gets you to 1080p feeds of all the matches. watchespn will allow you to use your sling subscribtion to get full ESPN access too including replay of everything. Don't forget to cancel or you'll get charged for a whole month, $20. Make sure you sign up for the package with ESPN.o_O Rinse and repeat for Wimbledon and US Open.

You are American. Get Private Internet Access or similar for $36 per year. Easy Hide IP has a 7 day trial if you want to test the waters. This allows you to change your IP address so you appear to be in other countries. Great for watching French Open (not on ESPN) with replays on franceTV and Wimbledon(BBC). Probably good for Australia, but I've not tried since I have Sling. For those who are not American this would allow you to sign up for Sling like an American.

The IP thing above will also allow you to sign up for Eurosport player which gets you early Auz events plus three of the majors for about $25 per year (really only necessary if you want the early Auz stuff). Easy to do on PC, but it takes some knowhow to trick the googleplay store and apple stores (fake accounts with British street addresses.) A lof of work for really only a few events.

Use the IP thing with Canadian IP address to watch live on fromhot.com which has better feeds than batmanstream (you can also sign up with betting sights with nominal deposit for similar quality, but not done that.)

The biggest and best investment is Tennis TV for $99 per year. You may be blocked for certain events in certain regions, but you can use the IP thing to switch to a country that is not region blocked (for US events like Houston, Newport, or Citi I switch to UK address and watch them on Tennis TV, otherwise they are blocked.;)) This and ESPN give you replays. Eurosportplayer has select replays (cheap bastards.)

Tennis TV is the Cadillac of tennis coverage and much better than any cable package when combined with the above.

And there's always this.

BEST CHANNEL-SWITCHING STREAMING - HD

click ok
select tennis in the right column, then click the match to BOLD
click play in the video column

I use Batman when I need one for the small tourneys, but ESPN & DirecTV have me covered for Melbourne.

You need a provider login for ESPN and this is US only. You are powered by some provider when you use watchespn.o_O
weird, I don't remember ever entering anything, maybe it has something to do with my internet. it has worked in the past on school computers without a login.

Don't know, but I can assure you that its paid for as I don't have ESPN3 access most of the year. Its possible the schools have a setup of some kind. If not in full screen mode, above the upper right corner of the replay or live event it will say something (mine says powered by Sling, and I've been powered by AT&T in the past. ESPN keeps good track so you almost never need reenter the credentials.)

Good to know. I'll consider myself lucky to get the coverage

Same here. Can watch the slams except for the FO. I have to catch matches on YouTube or that European gambling site.

AT&T is a big one that has given ESPN3 access to its internet subscribers. Sling for last 7 days for free gets you the main ESPN commentary on top of this.

I have had Comcast for the last six years and have always had ESPN3 access. I can watch from home or anywhere else with broadband. A friend of mine cut the cord a few years ago after I told him that he could access ESPN3 with just a broadband account. He hooked up an antenna and watches stuff via ESPN3. He might have Amazon Prime too (or share an account with one of his kids).

When you go to the ESPN3 website, it gives you a long list of ISPs to choose from so there are a lot of providers that they work with.

Most of who don't give ESPN3 access just with internet, you have to be cable tv subscriber. AT&T and Comcast are big, so that covers a lot of people. I've got Earthlink atm and no ESPN3. You should try sling 7 day trial and get the main ESPN commentary for the last 7 days of event. I used up my trial on college football and subscribed for the month. Love the ESPN team especially with JMac on board now too.

Here's the list of providers that get ESPN3 access. Looks like a few hundred providers. I didn't see Earthlink in the list.

You don't need to be a Cable TV subscriber. I have only subscribed to Cable TV in the 1990s for six months.

I know lots of people that get ESPN3 without a cable tv subscription.

Wrong. Sling tv is not an internet provider. Those are cable tv providers. Not aware of a list for interent only providers that give ESPN 3 access. I've been down this road before.o_O

Well, you'll see people with ESPN 3 access without a cable tv subscription on these threads all the time. You could just try it if you know someone that will loan you their credentials. As I said, I've been doing it for six years. BTW, I'm a Comcast shareholder too. The dividends that they pay out more than cover the ISP bill.

Haha. I've thought of that. Definitely have friends not using, but they don't know their credentials. ESPN3 for tennis is getting weak. I still love there top comentators on ESPN, so a little Sling here and there works well. If I were really miserely I'd try to do 7 days free at the three majors they cover. Tennis TV the way to go outside of majors as ESPN has Winston-Salem and the Amurican ATP 1000s only pretty much.:(

The login credentials, at least for Comcast, are the credentials that you use to sign into your account to see and pay your bill, look at your email, your bandwidth usage, shop, etc. Pretty hard not to have them available to manage your account.

Haha yeah well they get the bill in the mail and pay it; end of story. I'd have to call in for them to get credentials and for me just not worth the bother. ESPN has sensibly trimmed up their coverage. My time is worth money so for me Tennis TV is a no brainer for everything outside of slams. Eurosport gets me Brisbane and Sydney for a bit of money plus a backup on majors. Sling with full ESPN for Auz and US Open is great. BBC coverage is awfully good for Wimbledon. I was lazy, but I bet @Aussie Darcy knows some Australian sites that have full and free coverage for Aussies.;)
