How useful is the racquet finder?

Has anyone entered their desired specs into racquet finder and demoed/bought a racquet purely based on the results given by it? I'd like to know if you are satisfied with the selection racquet finder comes up with & whether or not a racquet will be what you want just because it satisfies your spec requirements.

For the Dunlop MW 200G, I found the Volkl Tour 10 Gen II. I thought that it was an excellent racquet, somewhat similiar. Now, I did know from previous experiance that I did like the "Volkl feel." But, true to the measurements on the racquet finder, the flex, swingweight, etc. were very similiar. I am a big fan of the racquet finder for specs purposes. I include favorable "feel" reports from the message board in order to determine what to demo. Hope this helps.

ya its pretty good. but i wish that when you go to tw's "racket categories", that there'd be more specific groups, like say light player rackets, or smaller midplus frames, larger tweeners, or whatever. but the racket finder is pretty nice

They should clearly clarify if static and swing weights are for strung or unstrung (they are for strung if you go by the results).

They can also add a string pattern choice.

Beam width will also be good.

Very helpful tool. I wish it had a compare feature, where you could look at five or so racquets side by side. I didn't choose my racquet purely on specs, but it was a good starting point for selecting racquets to try.

I find it very useful. It oftens gives me choices I would never consider.... One thing I will say, it seems that more recent frames don't come up in the search. Maybe it takes a little more time to add them to the database.
