The crowd was not nice to Djokovic. And Djokovic wants people to like him. But Serbian crowd would be even worse to Roddick, I think.
Djokovic admitted he abused timeouts? When did he do that?
Both Roddick and Djokovic are big jokers. But they should not be joking during tha tournaments. Djokovic made fun of Rafa with imitations in US07. But he should not do that when the matches are going on.
Hey, do you know how I can put a picture?

Djokovic admitted to using the timeouts due to lack of conditioning in an interview after his match against Monfils at the 2005 U.S. Open.

No one remembers this anyway....And besides, they were not that bad during the Fed match in semis . And that was 2 days after the Roddick match. So, there will be no problems this time. This is nor RG, for Christ's sake.
Yes, but, will they embrace him?? He went from a funny copy cat too a booed player...
The French hate the Spanish ??? Would never have guessed that seeing Veronique et al. The other bolded part is fine ... about being bitter.:twisted:The French hate the Spanish. Always have. Even though Graf is my all time favorite player I thought how they were so completely against Sanchez Vicario in that 96 final when Sanchez Vicario was pouring her heart out and giving such an effort to try and win the match was terrible. They were still bitter she came back to beat Habsudova in the quarterfinals when they were so anxious for her to be about to go out though. They booed Bruguera off the court after one of his matches in 95 when he was the 2 time reigning champion, I think over just something like a line call. I wish Nadal would have taken a shot at them at some point especialy this year as well, and done it with a Spain rules message to really irk them, LOL! I also remember a couple years ago when Rafa was booed after beating Federer in the final, I have hardly ever seen something so disgraceful. Being booed just for winning.

Is Cesc French too ? Do they hate the Swiss as well ?
I think the crowds will like him again. They will have forgiven him.
Well they have a bit of a rivalry considering for years the Spanish have won the FO and Tour De France trophies way more often than the French.

Wow, CH banned? That's a surprise.

Djokovic will be the surpise package at the USO.
Side note, i'm shocked to why Countryhillbilly got banned.
You're a new user, how do you even know who CH is?
Simply due to the fact that i've been viewing this forum for a while now. I found Countryhillbilly to be a fair and well balanced poster. I only realised however that he got banned a few minutes ago. Anyhow, if does comeback, it will be a joy.
I never understood what was so gutsy about Novak calling out the crowd when the crowd was actually applauding him before he attacked them for no reason. :?He was pissed off and it was the heat of the moment. Also I like the fact he had the guts to call out the crowd it took great courage.
btw, it's annoying how everybody leaves Tommy Robredo off the hook in this sordid mess. It was Tommy who started the ball rolling on Novak's injuries. And his accusations were far more damaging than anything Roddick said.
Beaten Robredo blasts Djokovic gamesmanship

I think you are right. Even though Robredo has been top ten he is kind of a forgotten player isn't he? He could choke Novak in the players lounge and nobody would pay attention. But if Roddick sneezed in Novak's space it'd be reported everywhere.B/c nobody cares about Tommy Borebredo enough to give 2 craps about what he says. That'd be my guess.

I didn't know Djokovic can be so bad. He was such a jerk when he was young, but I didn't know about this. But that writer wants to say that that match ruined Monfils' career, like Monfils would be better than Djokovic if that did not happen. That's dumb. Monfils is like Nadal with faster serve and no technique.
