How would Andy Murray do at Wimbledon during Tim Henman's time or before at the faster surfaces?

How would Andy Murray have done in the faster Wimbledon surfaces before the late 2000's?

I'm guessing since he has also been very successful at Queen's club (where the grass surfaces are much faster than the current Wimbledon grass surfaces), he would've also done well in the past Wimbledon surfaces when they were faster. Andy Murray has proven that he can perform well consistently in the faster Queen's Club surfaces against various types of opposition, especially big hitters and servers (which were most commonly found during the early 2000's and the 1990's). Would his success and feats at Queen's Club be applicable and relevant when discussing his potential career success had he played at Wimbledon during Tim Henman's time or before when the grass was much faster?

What do you all think?

I wouldn't say he'd be as successful as he is today, but would be more successful than Tim due to him just being more naturally talented

Not very well, I don't think. His tendency to get passive would get punished worse than ever. Of course it's highly likely if he was playing in those times he would have worked his tail off to try and achieve whatever he needed to do just as he did a decade back, but learning to attack and get to net is a lot harder to do than bulking up physically.

Once graphite came along, no grinder had ANY success on the fast grass of Wimbledon until they slowed it down.

Grinding didn't have "less" success. It had none. Zero. A totally useless strategy for the surface.

To succeed from the baseline, you literally had to be the most preternaturally talented, inside-the-baseline, on-the-rise ballstriker of all time. And even that guy only managed one.

Andy would have fared about as well as Rainer Schuettler, who was about as talented, but was born in the wrong era.

I don't think fast grass would affect Murray's game. More like there would be tough opponents(Sampras and Fed) blocking his path, so he could end up like Roddick or Hewitt with 1 Wimbledon tops.

After all only 2002 was more 'open'.
Even 2000/2001 would still be tough to win.
You don't get to play lackluster opponents in both finals that you win.
