How would you compare Head Graphene XT Speed Pro and Graphene Speed Pro 2013?

they're more alike than different. The new MPA has a little more dense string pattern than the previous graphene MP when strung 16x19. when 16x16 its a little more open. ive seen comments that the XT pro seems bulkier and such, but ive played the current and previous pros side by side and its not enough difference for me to notice. if you compare the unstrung specs that head puts out, weight and balance is the same on the pro, MPA, and S as the previous versions. feel is slightly different, maybe a little more crisp and a little less hollow. maybe.

paint looks better ... it's a matte finish instead of shiny. i wonder if that has an intangible quality that alters peoples perceptions of the two lines.

i honestly think that most people buy the pro just because it says "pro." the MPA and S are much more useable frames for a lot of folks.

Graphene speed pro 2013 version is more powerful and softer than Xt version?

it can be whatever you want it to be ...

He means when strung identically. Obviously you can change the way a frame plays and feels by changing the strings, but if someone wants to compare two racquets, assume the same string and tension, esp if you are talking about the same string pattern.

I played a lot with the Graphene Speed Pro, then started using the Graphene XT when it was released. The Main Difference is that I find the Graphene XT a bit stiffer, so ended up changing my string set up. I liked Alupower or Solinco Tour Bite 16L in the Graphene at 50lbs. I ended up using Solinco Tour Bite Soft in the Graphene XT, and at a slightly lower tension of 48lbs. For Interest Solinco TB at 46 lbs in the XT was about the closest to 50lbs in the Graphene (But i just don't like the overall feel of the 46lbs). Somehow I just served really well with the Graphene XT (better then with the Graphene) and that was the main reason I 'upgraded' to the XT. The XT swing weight feels heavier, where a lot of comment is that the XT has a lighter swingweight, I just don't feel this. I also like the XT Plow Thru..feels a slight bit sturdier. In summary, I could describe the XT the bigger stronger brother of the Graphene, the XT just feels more assured in the hand.
