Looks to be leather under tourna. He was playing black strings last year in the USO series.
There was a guy in his team with Solinco cap, just sayin
Are we absolutely sure that he's not using a Vcore Pro 100. He's a big guy and that racquet looked large next to him.
Heck yeah, every frame Lleyton Hewitt used past his first one with Yonex was a paint job (of his first one ).Yes, they do and Yonex does paint jobs
I think only Francis uses a light stick, the others use heavier weapons.i though hubie, francis, and herbert all used the 310g 97 version
Bump, anyone know more? Could he be using the PTS in grey and not black in his mains?
He could, but he's not ;-)
YesDo you know his string set up and tension?
Hahahaa
Not really. Mouratglou wears Asics stuff but his students wear other brands.Looks like his coach was wearing a Solinco hat and shirt. Don’t know if that means anything about the player
What is his string set up and tension?
i was thinking the same. Even Chung did get ordinary oftheshelf racquets according to his stringer. why would it be any different with hurcas?thank you and amen - even though one could suppose there is some customization of his racquets, Yonex QC is so good do they even have pro stock racquets?
an Hungarian player is really different from a famous Hewitt. After Hewitt went to Yonex and settled on a mould, he was eventually given many subtle variations in lay up and consequently flex and flex locations to choose from, similar to a pro golfer experimenting with shafts.
Looks like a multi or gut in the crossesStill the same. Just paintjob. Plus Tour bite.
It’s a Yonex.Thanks..
Head looks bigger than 97 on TV..
Yeah, it seems like it from the way and timing he swings it. Looks like it crushes the effortlessly. His frame is very high SW and weight. He used Head before and his racquet was Prestige heavily modified.
Pro stock to his spec, but yonex just supply retail layupsdoes someone know if the racquet is a pro stock or just a retail one?
is it possible theyre just taking the VCore Pro specs rather than actually speccing out his actual frame?Interested in getting people's thoughts on this: there's a pro stock Hurkacz frame on the bay now and the specs are listed as follows:
Specs (strung)
Weight: 322g
Balance: 32.8 cm
Swingweight: 315
String pattern: 16x19
Head size: 97
Grip size: 4 1/4
Condition: New
If the racquet is real, it hasn't been customized to his specs...I don't really get why it would be strung and I'm a little surprised he'd use 4 1/4...
Thoughts?
Wanted to see if anyone has said anything about this. I think they guy on the bay is selling fake frames. Either that or he’s not listing the specs correctly. I’m pretty sure the head racquet Hurkacz had listed on string forum was grip size 1/2. And why would yonex not just give him the vcore pro 330 that he started out with. The listing makes no senseInterested in getting people's thoughts on this: there's a pro stock Hurkacz frame on the bay now and the specs are listed as follows:

The racket being sold looks like the 2021 mold of the VCore Pro. As far as I know, Hurkacz uses either the 2017 or 2019 mold of the VCP97, so that's not the mold he uses. My theory is either this is just a retail mold of the VCP97, with the Hubi name at the throat, to be used as a promo racket, as I have seen a VCP97 with Stan's name in the throat as well. Or this could be a batch of rackets that were provided to Hurkacz with the new mold, to see if he would be willing to switch. It's possible he gets his rackets customized elsewhere, so Yonex does not modify or put on a leather grip for him.Wanted to see if anyone has said anything about this. It was 31.5 strung or unstrung? Or are you saying you’re not sure what balance is and that’s your best guess?31.5, with tension (unsure), solinco tour bite 23 - 23.5 kg (10% prestretch), natural 23 - 23.5 (10% prestretch)
