Hi,
I’m thinking of a way to reduce arm pain and costs

been playing full poly but I pretend tostring my own raquets.
Found a cheap not very stiff poly - polyfibre hightech premium 16G
And
I was thinking about hybrid it with Prince synthetic gut original 16G, really cheap. Alternative maybe the gosen micro sheep super.

I’ve checked stiffness and thePrince string is stiffer than the poly but since it’s synthetic gut I assume it’s still less harsh on the arm.

On the cost side I really don’t know if it will work because it breaks really fast.

will it work as I intend? Is it a good mix? Or it will easily lock and be uncomfortable very quickly?

Most Poly main SG cross will lock very quickly.
If the poly is less stiff than the Prince Synthetic, why not do a full bed?
You can drop the tension in the cross 4-10lb for some more comfort.

But the synthetic gut material is still
More comfortable than the poly despite the stiffness or am I wrong?
I’ve tried low tension with a full bed Less stiff poly And couldn’t find any comfort.

I’ve tried a full bed of gosen micro sheep super 1.25, stringed by me (my first String job)
, it was rubbish, high tension and low at the same time troughout the frame and even like that I found some comfort.
