hybrid girl vs boys

if you could create the best possible player by combining elements of the game of different women, which would you choose and do you think this hybrid women could compete on ATP?

I think yes, here are my choices(in their prime):

Serve: SERENA – great speed, technique, excellent placement, variety; works well in critical moments, the second serve too. Probably the most dangerous shot in women’s tennis ever.

Return: SELES – quick reaction, hitting the ball early and sending it back with pace, depth, precision and angle. off both sides, killer.

Forehand: STOSUR – very powerful with a tricky nadalesque spin; falls deep into the opponent’s part of the court, often with a misleading loop, bouncing off very high - extremely hard to handle. the scariest I’ve ever seen.

Backhand: HENIN – impeccable technique, vast variety, great power too; flat, topspin, slice, crosscourt, down the line, you name it she’s got it.

Net game: NAVRATILOVA – her deft touch volleys were backed up with an excellent approach to and movement around the net. unmatched in the women’s game, on a par with the best of men.

Tactics: HINGIS – super creative and quick mind; she always had both great tactics prepared and the ability to improvise in the best possible way during the point. genius.

Movement: GRAF – tier one footwork as well as tier one foot speed, moved well on every surface, balanced, fit... had everything needed for great tennis movement.

Mentality: EVERT – calm, rational, super focused and able to stay that way throughout long matches. very strong and composed in crises.

Let's have one thing straight- no woman could compete at the top of the ATP- which is not a knock on them, it's just the way things are. The ATP world no.50- let alone Djokovic or Nadal- could take out the best woman in straights no problem.

The women's game is just as fun to watch as the men's, there's no need to mix the two.

The woman you have created could well get through a Futures Qualifying event but having watched Futures live I wouldn't hold any hope of any further progress.

There's some very tough players in the quallies too. Getting a round or two there would be be challenging also unless it's some random local who decided to enter.

I suspect a player of this type could do rather better than they're being given credit for.

Disagree in forehand category. Graf is the strongest candidate. She did not earn the Fraulein Forehand for no reason.

If the calls weren't 100% right, this hybrid woman could beat Kyrgios

Yeah you do get the odd joker signing in when the tournament is undersubscribed, I watched a guy (Kwong?) from HK play the Surbiton Qualies and I would have beaten him. After his drubbing he posed for a photo with his opponent.

I meant elements of the game isolated, therefore Stosur's forehand with Graf's feet - Steffi's footwork and speed helped her (great!)forehand to be more consistent and work well from different parts of the court; she was actually not better(nor worse) than Pierce and Ivanovic in the forehand department, just had superior movement. Stosur has the edge for me among the mentioned girls,I explained why in the first post.

You lost me when you picked Stosur as the best forehand. Maybe you could pick her for best biceps (they're certainly bigger than djokovics) nothing else.

Aside from that, your hybrid would maybe win a handful of low level futures matches if they played on tour for a year. They wouldn't beat any man ranked in the top 1000.

Not to go all Harvey Weinstein on y'all but the best approach would be to hybrid Serena's chest, Masha's legs, JJ's rear, Ana's face and Alize Lim's eyes and make the perfect ballgirl while letting the boys handle the tennis part.

maybe you didn't see her matches against Henin and Serena in Paris, 2010, or her other peak performances.

The thing that often makes me smile about sci films set in the future is that they were so obviously produced at a time when smoking was still an acceptable social norm and few of them seem to have foreseen that this would no longer be the case by the time their imagined future would come around!

And, by the way, will that perfect hybrid girl be that much better than prime Serena, for example? What did Serena lack when she was at her best?... apart from, probably, day-in, day-out consistency. She looks much more focused in the past few years.

Maybe she's holding her power supply that is overheating?

net game for sure. touch in general. also there are quite a few girls with better forehands. then her footwork is not among the best(her foot speed is, footwork no). she is not among the best tacticians either.

Number 700 would beat them 6-0 6-0. Top college players would beat them 6-1 6-1, top juniors would beat them 6-2 6-2

then how come good juniors couldn't beat Sharapova a few years ago? (so not even 2008 Aussie open Sharapova)

Thats what happens when you let leftist ideology to take over! I blame Hilary Clinton...

I don't think the people who posted female "big four" are necessarily leftist, they are just having fun. and I certainly don't think Hilary Clinton is a leftist.

sorry mate, I am not familiar with the trolling you are talking about, so I didn't get your sarcasm, and we probably have different senses of humor.
