Would it work to put Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Rough 16L and Wilson Natural Gut 16 as a hybrid? Should the gauges be different? If, so what gauges should I use. I don't break many strings.

yeah that would be good. if you dont break strings often then put gut in the mains. the gauges dont really matter, having all 16 guage is fine. having higher guages like 17 and 18 just means you will have more bite on the ball which makes it easier to generate spin. it's all up to you in terms of what works best.

I use Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power 16L in the mains @ 57 & Wilon Natural Gut 16 on the crossses @ 54. 16L is actually slightly smaller in gauge than 16.
The combo works very well for me so far and I find the natural gut really makes for a more comfortable stringbed.
