Hybrid question

Im stringing a hybrid with Red Code Wax 17g mains and XOne Biphase 16g crosses, and Im wondering what tension to string with. Current setup was some Head multi at 55lbs. Should I string @ same tension? Diff tension for the multi crosses?

I can only make a guess as to what to recommend, but you have to start somewhere. Both of your strings are powerful, so your tensions will need to be high(ish). Try 50 mains/54 crosses for a constant pull machine or 54/58 for a lock out machine. Using higher tension on the softer string makes it feel stiffer and it matches the poly better, giving you a consistent string bed.

Unfortunately it is a little pissing in the wind not having info on the frame and the player , so I dislike guessing on a tension.

I would suggest for the red code wax ( which runs about 226 stiffness ) / crosses at 52
Mains for the X1 B, I would go about 56-58..
