Hybrid Stringing

I know this has been asked before, and i apologize in advance.

I just got wilson ultimate duo string(luxilon and NXT tour) and i was wondering if people had reccomendations for stringing it on my pure control plus racket. Also, can i have the crosses and the mains strung at a different tension?

well as far as what is on the mains/crosses it depends on what you like. if you want the strings to be a little more durable go with the luxilon on the mains. if you want more comfort, go with the nxt on the mains. and to answer you question, yes you can put different tensions on the mains and crosses

I'd go lux mains and nxt crosses too. You can certainly adjust the tension, and you might want to on this. If you want equal tension feel, string the luxilon 10% less.

Some people (a club pro who was friends w/ the number one on my team) will look at you like you have seven heads and a sword for a tail...but it's doable. Hell, doesn't federer do it? No joke, the guy called me an idiot to my face. I didn't see the point in arguing, so i just let it be and told him he didn't know what he was talking about .
