Hybrids with Kevlar strings?

So I am on my hunt for my “perfect string(s)” and was wondering what I could do to find my perfect hybrid.

I’ve never used hybrids, but something similar to the feel of Black Code 4S strung at 56 pounds would be great.

Was also thinking about using the Spin Gen tool on a 17g Kevlar string as the mains with a slippery cross, something like Technifibre Pro Red Wax (mains/crosses) (52/56)

Just looking for something to offer good spin and ball bite, while being firm, like Black Code 4S.

Any suggestions would be nice, and I’am open to any ideas, so please feel free to share.

Kevlar is a braided string. Spin Tool indents will not last long, matter of seconds, before disappearing. I would suggest you review the Kevlar/ZX threads. You probably do not want to use the high tension differentials, but high end of range for Kevlar and low end for the ZX (~15# difference) is enough if both strings are manually pre stretched. TW does sell an Ashaway hybrid set. Do not use sets containing Kevlar+ as that is coated. Be aware that Kevlar is less dense than other strings, so you may also need some lead tape.

The way to enhance spin with Ashaway Kevlar hybrids is to do the main tension significantly higher than the cross ( like 20 lbs). The spin gen tool isn't going to work well on a braided multi.

I would suggest the Ashaway crossfire ZX pack as a good place to start. Not sure if your used to prestretching, but I would try to pull the ZX crosses enough to get at least 8" stretch out of it. If this is done, try 60-40 on the stringing.

What about spin gen on the zx?
I wouldnt dream of it. Zx is a unique string. It will stretch and stretch and mot break but bend it when it is nicked or kinked and snap city. Spin gen would save you time if it had a swiss army knife scissors attached...

Ashaway Kev/mosquitobite is a great combo if you prestretch both.
