Hyper G 1.20 vs Tour Bite Soft 1.20 vs Confidential 1.20 on Wilson Blade Pro v9 18x20 - Which is one better? opinions , feedback etc

Hi all,
I’m currently stringing my Wilson Blade Pro v9 (18×20) and I’m debating between three monos from Solinco at 1.20 mm gauge: Hyper G, Tour Bite Soft, and Confidential. I’d love your feedback / opinions.
Here’s my context and what I’m looking to compare:

Context:

  • Racquet: Blade Pro v9 in the dense 18×20 pattern. Customized with around 15g on handle and 5g on 3&9. (366g static, 350sw+)
  • My game: All court/Aggressive baseline
  • Current/previous string setup: I’ve been using Hyper G 1.20 and Tour Bite Soft 1.20 strings at 18kg tension as a reference.

Comparing the three strings:
Here are what I understand about their characteristics (please correct me if I’m off and share your impressions):

  • Tour Bite Soft: Designed for high spin and control with a firmer/crisp feel.
  • Hyper G: Slightly softer than traditional Tour Bite, very good spin/control, feels a little more muted and comfortable.
  • Confidential: Positioned between the two in terms of feel — a mix of spin/control but with a bit more “comfort” than super-firm polys.

What I want to know:

  • On an 18×20 head (dense string‐bed) does any of these strings “pop” more or feel more lively / slower / stiffer?
  • How is the spin generation difference among them (especially using a dense pattern)?
  • How does tension drop / durability / feel over time compare when used aggressively (baseliner/competitive)?
  • Any arm/shoulder feedback from people (comfort, fatigue) when switching among these three?
  • My ideal string would be: maximum spin/control but with enough feel and comfort so my arm isn’t trashed after long sessions. Which of these do you lean toward in that sense?
  • If you’ve tried more than one of them on the same racquet (or similar spec), what tuned your decision and what bias would you suggest I have?

My guess / leaning at the moment:
Since I hit heavy and want control, I was leaning toward Tour Bite Soft. . If you were me (on Blade Pro v9 18×20), which would you pick and why?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

I'm facing a similar dilemma with my v8 Blade 18x20s. I generally like Hyper G, but I wonder about strings similarly comfortable with a little more feel. Curious to see what people recommend here, but I've narrowed choices to Mach 10 or Mach 10/HGR, Pure Rush, and Confidential. I suspect Confidential is what we're both looking for in the Blades.

Tour Bite is probably what I'm actually craving, but I'm sensing you're like me in wanting to keep things as arm-friendly as possible. That said, TBS might work really well.

Comfort and pop, why not Mach 10? I have used the 1,25mm full bed in Blade Pro 18m and it was very good experience. Today I got the M10 1,20mm strung, but won't have time to try until Sunday.

idk i think confidential or tb soft 1.20 is the way to go. i have tried Mach 10 for like 20 mins or sth on a Ezone 98 Tour 2025 and it seemed like hyper g just more plasticky . extremely high launch angle and 0 feel.

I'd start with Confidential. It has a crisper more responsive feel than Hyper G. If you feel you are not getting enough pop then try the Mach 10, to me it seems a little too much at first but once the bed settled in it seemed to give a little more pop than Confidential and just losing a little feel.
