I haven't been able to notice a difference. I like them in a hybrid and full bed and I have no issues switching between the two even though I am very sensitive to weight.

I feel a hybrid of HG round mains and regular HG crosses could also be interesting

Revolution plays harsher than HG and doesn’t hold tension as well as HG. Better spin with HG IMO.

BHS7T is “crispier” and more lively than HG. bordering on harsh. Tension maintenance and spin is above average with both strings.

I would try toroline O-toro or wasabi. Had two friends who were both hyper g blade baseline players with blades switch to each one

Yea you can say that. When reviewing the string, I had a full bed. It was powerful, but definitely tamable through spin. I haven't tried wasabi in the crosses, but have tried k-pop (wasabi in the mains and cavier in the crosses)

No that one is Wasabi X.... regular Wasabi is often used full bed.

I agree Wasabi and O Toro are quite similar to HG... maybe more to HGS

I think that Hyper G round is slicker than regular HG. I would expect a lower launch angle than HG/HGR with a bit less spin. Compared to FB HG, HG/HGR has about the same amount of spin with less of a "biting" sensation but with more snapback and depth. IMO HGR/HG it would also play a bit softer with less snapback. I tried it for a bit and I wasn't a huge fan. I don't think that HG/HGR is inconsistent enough for me to desire a round main. I can hit all of the shots I want with HG/HGR and the relatively high-powered nature of HGR (especially in the thinner gauges) gives me a bit of a boost in forgiveness and power, especially when I get lazy with my footwork. I also use an EZ98 2024ANB, and it definitely mutes out some of the badly mishit balls but it feels very nice in the sweetspot.

Tru pro Pure Rush is a hyper g on steroids.

I feel all Toroline line is like a descendant of Hyper g. That's why I don't find them interesting.
