Hyper G "lifetime"

Hi,

I've got a question how long does your Hyper G last? talking about 1.15 mm. Generally, when string starts moving and you need to "correct" it, is it a sign that you should restring?

What was your starting tension? If you're launching balls, restring. If it's hurting your arm or becomes stiff, restring.

It's hard to answer these questions without knowing how hard you hit and your competition as well. If you're rec playing at low levels it can last 30 hours lol.

The last mains will move before middle ones. This will depend on the knot quality/slack, extra tension on last mains etc.
Once middle ones get misaligned and won't snap back on their own, I replace string.

The best way to know with certainty is to take two identical racquets and string them up with the same string at the same tension. Play with just one of them but every two hours or so, pull out the new one and have a hit with it. When the differences between the two become great enough for you to notice that the used one is less powerful, more jarring, produces less spin, or has less control, then you will know how long you can play with any particular string.
