HYPER G

Hyper G is softer feeling, more comfortable and a little livelier. RPM Blast will offer better control, spin and tension maintenance.

Hyper G was built for Spin due to its Square shape. RPM still gives you more spin than hyper G ?? Also you think hyper G has more power than RPM ? I have been using RPM for a long time now and I always felt it was one of the more powerful polys out there...

Everytime I read TW playtesters comparing strings to RPM blast, they always say rpm blast has more spin. Is there any string that has more spin the RPM Blast? Also, I know I am suppose to take TWU String Comparision with a grain of salt but it says that Hyper G has a 26% tension loss compared to RPM blast being 46%, Also both have a .09 String to string friction but Hyper G has a .631 in string to ball friction compared to RPM blast being .406. If after looking at this data, RPM blast has better tension maintenance and better spin then TWU String Comparison is useless.

No way RPM has better tension maintenance- thats just impossible.

not really. RPM doesnt' have the best spin. I know other polys that has better spin like black code 4S, tourbite 18G, hyper g....

@TW Staff which variant of Hyper G has the lowest stiffness rating? What are the exact stiffness ratings for 16,16L, and 17?

My golfers elbow is tough to manage with stiff string. Think my arm will be alright? Im using a P97 customized by TW master racket tech, Paul Reed.

Yes, YTEX quadro pro has monster spin and produces more spin then RPM.

Hyper G was so hyped by Tennis Magazine and others that I decided to try some. I have to say that it's not worth trying to me. It started by feeling to stiff, reached a stage where it felt okay and then quickly became mush. Nothing special about this string.

gino,

The TW Professor only measured one gauge as it is a very time consuming and is a very busy man so we don't have stiffness ratings for all the different gauges. Our playtesters that have hit with the string have not had any arm issues or felt uncomfortable using the string. However, the playtesters did find it to have a firm, crisp feel.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

Thanks Brittany. Where can I find the stiffness rating for whatever gauge TW Professor was able to measure? @TW Staff

Thank you so much. I have tried 17 G Hyper G and I was impressed but felt it was little too low on power and Boardy feeling. so I am going to try the 18 G and hope thinner gauge will improve these aspects. ... But Andy, do you think Revolution is better string than Hyper G ? how do they compare in Spin, Power, and Control, in that order ? Thank you in advance.

I prefer Hyper-G over Revolution. I found it to be more spin-friendly and a little more powerful, while Revolution offers a bit more control.
