Nobody knows because it's obvious he still has the skill but he's secretive about how physically fit he is regarding his knee and other issues he might be having.

The devil is smart because he is old. I feel that sneaky little trickster is going to find his way into the next Wimbledon final.

Yall it's his first tournament after surgery in a year and he's abt to be 40 lol relax!
Exactly.
However, he’ll need to win 21 sets in 2 weeks and play more than that to win Wimbledon in 3 months. We have to be realistic. As great as he is, that would be an amazing feat at this age with such long layoff...

...Federer can still reach a Slam QF again.
And that is hardly an issue bud. Guy should he on senior tour but is still out there on the main tour probably still capable of beating anyone on his day. He now has earned the right from this point forward to just add to his legacy with no risk to it. He is Tom Bradyesqe legendary

He can totally make QF at Wimbledon. It'll depend on his draw. I actually think having a day to rest between matches at the slams will be beneficial despite the five set format. The comeback is just starting. Hell, Djokovic lost to Taro Daniel at IW when he started his comeback. It takes time

And Djokovic was 30 when he started his comeback, Fed is a few years older. NOVAKs layoff was much shorter too.
I would not compare those two comebacks...

He hasn't provided you enough thrills in his career? He's inching towards the end of his career, enjoy every moment the great one is on court. We'll never see someone like Federer again, he's a once in a lifetime player. He probably won't make a slam QF again, but he's almost 40, it's to be expected.

I don't disagree, but I just think we should have learned by now to not count out any of the Big 3 and to not make snap judgments. I think Fed is done being a serious contender for slams, but these doom and gloom proclamations are so premature
